Product Description
NU-GEL Dressing is a sterile hydrogel formulation of preserved polyvinyl pyrrolidone in water. The gel is supported by a fusible fiber fabric scrim and protected on both sides by polyethylene film. NU-GEL Dressing provides a moist environment conductive for optimal wound healing. It protects against dehydration, bacterial contamination and absorbs exudates from the wound.

Indications
NU-GEL Dressing is indicated for any of the following:
  • First- and second-degree burns
  • Partial-thickness wounds
  • Decubitus ulcers
  • Donor sites
  • Severe sunburn
  • Superficial injuries or secreting dermal lesions
  • Superficial lacerations, cuts, and abrasions
  • Incisions
  • Skin reactions to oncology procedures
  • Dermabrasions and other dermatologic procedures
  • Facelifts and other plastic surgery procedures

NU-GEL Dressing is not indicated for full-thickness or infected wounds or 3rd degree burns.
